Alp Haus Grossglockner
Alp Haus is a traditional Austrian House located at the start of the Grossglockner Road. The house is loacted 3 minutes drive from Zell am See Lake and 10 minutes from Zell am See town itself. We have split the house into 3 seperate apartments. We have decorated all of the apartments in a traditional style using original items scourced from antique markets and the internet, which we have upcycled to give the house back some of its original character. Apartment 2
Outside
Apartment 2 in Alp Haus Grossglockner is on the second floor of a traditional Austrian house. We have parking for 10 vehicles. The house has a large garden & the apartment itself has a large private balcony.
Living Area
The living area of Alp Haus Grossglockner consists of a large grey sofa, which converts into a kingsuze double bed. A chest of drawers & a TV unit with a large Internet TV which has Amazon Prime & Nextflix. There is free wifi within the apartment.
Master Bedroom
The main bed is an Austrian twin which is 2 single matresses within 1 double bed frame. I provide 2 single duvets and pillows. The skis on the wall are from a lady down the road who was an Austrian ski racer in the 1960's. There is also a desk, wadrobe & mirror.
Small Bedroom
The small bedroom contains a bunk bed, chest of drwaers and a small drawer unit. The bunk bed is ok for adults but is better suited to children as the room itself if quite small.
Kitchen
The kitchen is large with a fridge / freezer, 4 ring hob, oven, sink, dishwasher, microwave, coffee machine, toaster & kettle. We have also provided cooking utensils, crockery, cutlery, glasses & pans etc. There is a large table with seating for 6 people.
Ski Room
There is a communal ski & boot room for the guests of the whole house. Please do not wear your ski boots on the upper floors or the builidng and please do not put your skis / boards inside the apartment.
Bathroom
The bathroom has a large shower, a mirrored cabinet is provided above the sink for all your toiletries. There is also a toth brush holder, hairdryer & anti-bacterial hand soap. There are hooks on the back of the door in case you need to dry any clothing after a day out in the mountains.
Hallway
The Hallway area is quite big for the size of the flat. There is a large double wadrobe with loads of hangers to stor all your clothing, Hook on the back of the door and to the left for coats etc. and a pouffe to sit on when putting on shoes.
Safety
The apartment is equipt with a smoke
alarm, fire extinguisher, fire blanket & first aid kit. We fully clean & disinfect after each guest!
