Local Ski Area's Covered on Supersalzburg Pass
If you buy the Salzburg Super-Ski Lift pass it opens up a massive area for you to explore. It's usually only about €20 more than the normal ski pass so its well worth it especially as one of the best areas is the Hochkonig wich is not covered on our area pass. The drive to Maria Alm (Abergbahn) is about 25 minutes, during high season its usually very quiet there.

Areas on Lift Pass
The best buy if you have a car is a Super Ski Card. This Covers you for 23 regions so a different adventure every day. It's only €20 more than a local pass!
Zell am See
The local area. Awsome resturants Blaickners Sonnenalm, Eder Hutte & Hochzeller Alm. Avoid Red 4 in the afternoon & Blue 5a all the time.
Saalbach
There are several options for a day out in the Glemmtal, listed here the Hinterglemm Circuit, Leogang or Fieberbrunn. It's also nice to start at Fieberbrunn & ski there for a day. You can take the local bus 680 or drive.
Kitzbühel
You can get to Kitzbuhel by train or drive. If you go buy train get off at the hahnenkamm station which is right at the bottom of the main lift. Its also great to get the Pinzgauer Lokalbahn to Hollersbach & ski over to Kitzbuhel.
Hochkönig
It is possible to get to Maria Alm by public transport but it is not easy & takes ages! Best to drive to the Abergbahn or the centre of Maria Alm & start there. Follow the Konigs tour. The Die Deantnerin
is best for lunch!
Gastein Valley
Again it is possible to get here on public transport but very difficult. The best skiing is in Dorfgastein & there is plenty of parking. Best to ski to GroBalm in the morning & Dorfgastein in the Afternoon. Have lunch at Wengeralm.
Hochkrimml
A bit further away (1 hour) but usually really quiet with excellent pistes. The Larmachalm
is a fabulous place for lunch but often busy so I would suggest that you book a table. The road goes via Krimml Waterfalls, a scenic drive!
